NEW PLYMOUTH ITU TRIATHLON WORLD CUP

With the 2020 Olympics looming, this year’s ITU World Cup Race presents the final opportunity for athletes to qualify for a spot in Tokyo. Competitors will tackle the challenging waters of the Tasman Sea, before biking the short, sharp hills shadowed by the breath-taking Mt Taranaki, before triumphantly running down the blue carpet to cross the finish line.

We are honoured to welcome the world’s top athletes to participate in this Olympic qualifying event. Hosted by friendly locals who love the sport, we know you’ll feel at home.

Want to be part of the action? Spectators can enjoy the World Cup for free, or watch the full event through live streaming here.
